Benniman instructed Bates to carry out the construction for a new refuse compound at Worcester Six for Alliance Flooring Distribution.
The contract included works to an existing 12 x 6 metre steel frame fitted by the client. Bates constructed timber framed walls, joists to the roof, cladded the walls with open and closed fittings. A EDPM membrane was installed to seal the roof and finished with a plastic trim, ready for the live roof to be fitted by the next trade. To complete the project the team cladded the compound gates and added habitat panels to the outside.
Bates supplied all timber and materials to carry out the contract at Worcester, the project is due to complete in September 2023.
